What I bring to my practice is almost 50 years of clinical experience and a lifetime of spiritual practice and athletic achievement. My journey into chiropractic was born from a deep love for yoga; as a dedicated teacher I developed the Anatomy of Yoga program, a staple in many yoga teacher training programs.
My understanding of the human body is “inside out” shaped by a rich background as a professional baseball player, competitive runner, and medal-winning triathlete. This personal history allows me to relate to my patients, be they athletes or weekend warriors, with an intuitive understanding of their injuries and recovery needs.
I was the first Diplomate of Chiropractic Orthopedics in Marin County, California, specializing in non-surgical orthopedics. This and subsequent training in extremity injuries and adjustments has greatly expanded my ability to diagnose and treat upper and lower extremity problems.
My technical expertise spans:
Multiple Chiropractic techniques, Spinal Decompression, Scoliosis Management, Fascial Manipulation, Extremity and Visceral Adjusting, Soft Tissue Manipulation, Rehabilitative Exercise/Yoga therapy, and Total Immersion Swim Coaching
